Welcome
Children need time in the outdoors now more than ever. Give your child the gift of open-ended, child-focused play opportunities in our preschool and summer camp programs.
TAKE SOME TIME OUT
WHO WE ARE,
WHAT WE DO
The mission of Trails Together is to provide children with an all-outdoors experience, with a focus on getting back into nature, open-ended free play, and building community with their peers and their local parks.
We offer two programs:
Nature-Immersion Preschool (September-May) is a part-day, one day per week, drop-off program for children ages 2-5. Located in parks on the peninsula, your child will gain confidence in the outdoors, learn social and self-help skills, and build a connection with nature to carry with them throughout their lives. In 2025-2026, this program will run on Fridays, 9am-1pm.
Adventure Camp (June) gives children ages 5-9 an opportunity to spend nearly a full day outdoors, doing what they ought to be doing in the summer: playing. The "work" of play helps your child develop confidence and self-esteem, conflict resolution skills, and critical thinking. They also learn to gauge risks, test their own boundaries, and step outside their comfort zones. This program allows for as much open-ended, uninterrupted play as possible, with brief pauses to change locations or have a snack or lunch.
